Our cellar shop is open seven days a week and offers a relaxed, down to earth experience that reflects the spirit of the farm. Here you can sample our jams, pickles, chillies, relishes and liqueurs, all crafted with care and tradition right here on the estate.
Frozen berries are available throughout the year, with fresh blackberries and youngberries offered during the harvest season from mid-November to the end of December. Visitors often linger a little longer as our hosts share serving ideas, pairing suggestions and a glimpse into the work that goes into berry farming.
Alongside our liqueurs and preserves, visitors can discover our Cheese Topper range: bold pairings in beautiful jars, crafted to make cheese boards sing and roasts shine. From sweet to spicy, savoury to surprising, each jar is a celebration of flavour designed to elevate your table and delight your guests. We also create thoughtful gifting options for every occasion, from corporate gifts and hostess treats to personalised selections and seasonal hampers.
We welcome everyone. Families with children, solo travellers, day visitors passing through Swellendam and even well mannered dogs who promise not to chase the hadedas. If you are planning to arrive with more than eight visitors, a quick reservation helps us prepare and ensures you enjoy the best possible experience.
